A box of seed beads left to me by my mother drew me into the wonderful world of bead embroidery. Color, texture, pattern, imagination, and a strong urge to explore new ideas defines my pieces. There are no boundaries, just the desire to see where the next bead will lead me. I design and create all my own art, with some pieces taking months to complete.
In my opinion art should be seen so why not wear it like jewelry . Therefore, some of my work displayed in shadow boxes are removable and can be worn as statement pieces.... thus the term wearable art.
My interests are many, expecially those relating to ancient cultures and myths... this and my fluid imagination helps explain the varied nature of my gallery. Take a look and enjoy.

Photography Disclaimer: I am a bead embroider artist and not a photographer. The images I have posted are my attemp to show my beaded works as you would see them. I have taken these photos myself and hence they are not perfect. By my taking them I have eliminated the extra cost of professional photography that would add a few hundred dollars to the end product.
